This test shoot with Joy was conceived as a collaborative exercise in refinement; focusing on natural light, minimal styling, and expressive direction to capture a series of clean, timeless portraits.

Working across three distinct looks, the intention was to strip everything back and allow the imagery to centre on form, texture, and presence. The approach emphasised simplicity, enabling Joy’s natural energy and versatility to come through without distraction.

Alongside the editorial images, we also captured a set of digitals to support her portfolio, ensuring a balance between creative exploration and industry-standard deliverables.

This project reflects my ability to direct talent in an intuitive, low-intervention environment, work confidently with natural light, and create imagery that feels both effortless and considered.
